The MAPS 3 Oklahoma River Boathouse District Improvements project, completed in 2016 with a budget of $57.1 million, has maintained Oklahoma City’s elevated status as a national hub for water-based adventure sports. At the heart of this transformation is the RIVERSPORT Rapids whitewater rafting and kayaking center, which caters to all skill levels, from beginners seeking new experiences to seasoned experts honing their skills. The project also introduced vital racecourse improvements, including state-of-the-art LED lighting, advanced starting systems and docks, judging platforms, and a starting tower.

As the program consultant, ADG Blatt played a pivotal role in orchestrating the successful completion of this ambitious project. Acting as the program consultant, ADG Blatt was responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that each phase was executed with precision and met the high standards set for the Boathouse District. This included coordinating with Wallace Engineering on civil and structural aspects and Darr & Collins on MEP engineering, ensuring seamless integration of all technical components. ADG Blatt's leadership and expertise were crucial in managing timelines, budgets, and quality control, ultimately delivering a facility that combines functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal. The Oklahoma City Boathouse Foundation, as the operating partner, continues to leverage these improvements, solidifying the city's reputation as a premier destination for adventure sports and outdoor recreation.
