OU REsidential colleges
Live. learn. teach.
The University of Oklahoma has two residential colleges located south of the football stadium at a prominent campus intersection. These housing facilities are near the existing dorm tower and utilize the “residential college community” model. They are designed as living/learning communities that build strong communities and identities, becoming the cornerstone of the undergraduate experience for their residents.
ADG Blatt was the architect of record and the design architect was KWK Architects. Each house over 300 residents in a variety of unit types and include a faculty master apartment, several faculty offices, classrooms and conference rooms. The buildings are designed to create a tight-knit community with many collaborative study areas and spaces for student/faculty gatherings. The dining rooms are located at the center of the community and serve outside of meal times as a multipurpose spaces. In addition, lounges, study areas and contemporary amenities are scattered throughout the complex.
