Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine
This new 2,000-seat church includes a distinct chapel and the final resting place for the remains of Blessed Stanley Rother. The Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine is the largest church in the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City and is located to serve the growing Catholic Hispanic community, as well as serve Archdiocesan events. Additionally, the campus also features a Pilgrim Center and Museum that includes refreshment area, rest rooms, book store and gift shop. The museum houses curated exhibits based on the ministry of Blessed Stanley Rother and education in support of the cause for canonization. For this project, ADG Blatt is the associate architect with Franck & Lohsen Architects of Washington, D.C. serving as the church architect.
During the next phase of development will include a new Ministry Building which will have a large event hall for Shrine activities and events of the Archdiocese. Also included in the Ministry Building are Christian education classrooms, nursery and meeting rooms. ADG Blatt is serving as the architect of record for these buildings, with Franck & Lohsen serving as design consultant.
